Mr. Mickey Mouse Dear Mickey: All of us here at XXXXX realize how proud you must be of the Walt Disney World Resort 25th Anniversary! You and your legendary companions are, after all, the ones who made it all possible. Yours is a marvelous legacy that continues to bring happiness and pleasure to millions. But, when you started, I'll bet you never thought that you'd be on something called the World Wide Web – daily delighting thousands of Internet visitors. Since your website was created, Mickey, there have been some important changes in Web technology. We can do things with sound and movies we couldn't do before. There are also some great changes planned right there at Walt Disney World. And we hope it's going to be our job to modify your website to reflect all these wonderful Innoventions; making it more exciting and attractive than ever to your virtual pals, while also giving them plenty of reasons to visit you personally. On the pages that follow you'll find our thinking on some pretty serious stuff. Things like creative strategy, budget parameters, and production time-lines. Yes, Mickey, this is serious stuff. Because amplifying, enriching, and extending your tradition – encouraging more families to visit you in Florida – is really what it's all about. And this is a responsibility we would take very seriously, indeed. That's it for now, Mickey. And even if we don't met again, it's been a privilege to have been considered among all the others competing for your attention. Yours sincerely, XXXXX |
